Richard A. Yates Work Experience President - RAY Engineering; Pittsburgh, PA Richard Yates is the founder of RAY Engineering. Rick has overseen the Mechanical and Electrical Design of over 900 projects for RAY Engineering since 1986. Rick's main focus is to provide the most comfortable and energy efficient systems which meet the owner's budget requirements. Rick also places a strong emphasis on the ability to maintain systems. Rick often states "you won't find a filter that can't be changed or a coil that can't be pulled on one of our projects". 1986 to present Engineering Manager - Carnegie-Mellon University; Pittsburgh, PA Primary responsibility was to supervise the design, estimating, construction, and start-up of the mechanical and electrical systems on all new construction and renovation projects for the University. 1983 to 1986 Senior Engineer - Kaiser Engineering of Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh, PA Primary responsibility was the supervision of design for all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing projects handled by the Pittsburgh office. 1982 to 1983 Project Engineer - PPG Industries, Inc.; Pittsburgh, PA Primary responsibility was the supervision of all projects from conception to completion. 1980 to 1982 Staff Engineer - Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.; Akron, OH Primary responsibility was to solve local plant engineering problems utilizing production, maintenance, and outside contractors. 1978 to 1980 |
